This is Cabernario No.8, produced from ungrafted vines planted in 1964 on plot No.8 in our Maipo Estate. The No.8 Estate is an ancient Cabernet Sauvignon plot of land so old and pure. that it makes our ungrafted vines unique, requiring minimal winemaking intervention to deliver a full bodied, bold Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cabernario Special Edition is the primitive result of deep ungrafted roots which grow on a south oriented hillside. No other cuartel in the valley grows facing south, and that makes all the difference. Explore a different point of view through the flavors and aromas of this unique wine.
